Kenya Gears Up for 2nd Africa Urban Forum

In preparation for the 2nd Africa Urban Forum scheduled in Nairobi this April, Housing Principal Secretary Charles Hinga, alongside Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Housing and Urban Development Hon. Alice Wahome and other dignitaries, met with the African Diplomatic Corps to review the country’s readiness for the event.

The forum, themed **“Adequate Housing for All: Advancing Socio-economic and Environmental Transformation towards the Realization of Agenda 2063,”** will focus on shaping a continental vision for housing and sustainable urban development.

PS Hinga emphasized Kenya’s commitment to fostering innovative solutions for urbanization challenges, ensuring that the forum serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, partnerships, and actionable strategies for Africa’s growing cities.
