Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago is grieving the loss of his mother following her passing, a development that has elicited widespread condolences from political leaders, business executives, and members of the wider community.

Among those who paid tribute was the President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), Dr. Erick Ruto, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss and stood with the senator and his family during the period of mourning. Dr. Ruto described the passing as a painful moment and emphasized the importance of unity and compassion during such times.

“My heart goes out to Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago on the passing of his beloved mother,” Dr. Ruto said. “I had the honor of joining fellow leaders to offer condolences and stand in solidarity during this difficult time. May his family find strength, peace, and comfort in the cherished memories of her love and guidance.”

Dr. Ruto noted that moments of loss call for collective support, adding that the presence of leaders and friends was a sign of shared responsibility and empathy within the community.

Similarly, the Uasin Gishu Chairman of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Will Kenei, also conveyed his condolences, remembering the deceased as a woman of strong faith and admirable character. Kenei said her values and devotion to God were evident through the lives she influenced, particularly within her family.

“The deceased was a God-fearing person who upheld strong moral values,” Kenei stated. “On behalf of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Uasin Gishu, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. We pray that God grants them comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult period.”

Several leaders who attended the condolence meetings described the late matriarch as a pillar of strength whose legacy would continue through her children and the community she nurtured. They emphasized that the loss goes beyond the immediate family, touching many who drew inspiration from her wisdom, humility, and compassion.

The gathering of leaders to mourn with Senator Mandago highlighted the spirit of solidarity that remains central to Kenyan society, particularly in times of bereavement. Messages of support and prayers have continued to pour in from across the county and beyond, reflecting the respect and esteem held for the senator and his family.
