Kenya and Egypt Forge Groundbreaking Tourism Partnership

Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano, alongside PS John Ololtuaa, met with H.E. Hatem Yousri Hosni, Ambassador of Egypt to Kenya, to explore a transformative tourism partnership.

The proposed MOU aims to **blend Egypt’s cultural tourism expertise with Kenya’s world-class wildlife and safari experiences**, creating a platform for knowledge exchange, skills training, and innovative tourism solutions.

“This partnership is a game-changer for Kenya’s tourism sector,” said CS Miano. “By learning from Egypt’s success in cultural heritage tourism and sharing our conservation and safari expertise, we will attract more global visitors, boost local businesses, and create jobs for our people.”

The collaboration will also focus on upskilling personnel to international hospitality standard and expanding Kenya’s tourism offerings, strengthening the nation’s position as a top global destination.

Magical Kenya continues to shine on the world stage, and this partnership propels us toward even greater heights.
