Moisbridge Ward MCA Announces Free Business Training and Loan Opportunity for Young Women
Moisbridge Ward MCA Patrick Kimeli, in conjunction with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has announced a two-day business training and empowerment workshop targeting young women and ladies aged between 18 and 35 years.
The training is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th January 2026, running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days. The program is aimed at equipping participants with practical business skills to help them start, grow, and manage sustainable enterprises.
Speaking on the initiative, MCA Kimeli said the training will focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business management. He added that participants who successfully complete the training will have an opportunity to access loans at very low interest rates, as part of efforts to promote economic empowerment among young women in the ward.

Applicants are required to provide their full name, national ID number, phone number, sub-location, and details of the business they are currently involved in or plan to start. MCA Kimeli emphasized that only those who are fully registered will be allowed to attend the training, noting that the registration deadline is Friday at 2:00 p.m.
He further assured participants that lunch and refreshments will be provided during the two-day workshop and clarified that registration for the program is completely free.
The MCA urged eligible young women in Moisbridge Ward to take advantage of the opportunity, describing it as a step towards economic independence, job creation, and improved livelihoods within the community.
