The Mandera South National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) has officially opened the application process for bursaries for the 2025/2026 Financial Year, Member of Parliament Hon. Abdul Haro Kore has announced.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the MP said eligible students can collect bursary application forms from the Mandera South NG-CDF Office in Elwak town, beginning December 24, 2025.

“The bursary programme remains a key pillar in supporting access to education for needy learners across Mandera South. We encourage parents, guardians and students to take advantage of this opportunity and apply early,” Hon. Kore said.

The deadline for submission of completed application forms is January 10, 2026. The NG-CDF office further noted that a verification exercise of student data will be conducted concurrently with the application period and will conclude immediately after the deadline to ensure transparency and accuracy in the allocation process.

Hon. Kore reaffirmed his commitment to education as a driver of social and economic transformation in the constituency, adding that the bursary scheme is aimed at easing the financial burden on families and promoting retention and completion of schooling.

Eligible applicants are advised to adhere strictly to the application timelines and requirements as outlined by the NG-CDF office.
