Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Receives Goat as Gesture of Appreciation from Cameraman John Macharia

Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudie was  presented with a unique and heartfelt gift – a goat – by his loyal cameraman, John Macharia, in recognition of his support and dedication.

John Macharia, who has worked closely with MP Sudi for several years, took to the stage with a traditional Kenyan gesture of appreciation.

Macharia expressed his gratitude for the MP's consistent guidance and support, both professionally and personally. The cameraman, who is often seen behind the scenes documenting Sudi's public engagements and campaigns, said the gift was a symbol of respect and admiration for the work the MP has done for the people of Kapseret.

“It’s not just about the work we do on a daily basis, but the integrity and commitment that Oscar Sudi shows towards the community,” Macharia said. “This goat is a token of my deep appreciation for him, and I hope it serves as a reminder of the positive change he continues to bring to our area.”

Sudi thanked Macharia for the thoughtful gift and promised to ensure the goat would be put to good use in supporting local agriculture.

“I am humbled by this gesture,” MP Sudi said with a smile. “It is not every day that a politician receives such a meaningful gift. This goat symbolizes the hard work of the people I serve, and I will take care of it with the same dedication I have for the people of Kapseret.”

The gift of livestock is a common cultural tradition in many parts of Kenya, used to symbolize appreciation, wealth, and goodwill. As the event came to a close, Sudie assured Macharia that he would continue to work hard to improve the lives of the residents in Kapseret.
