Kapseret MP Oscar Kipchumba Sudi Mourns Long-Serving Staff Member Francis Kipsang Rono
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has paid a heartfelt tribute to his longtime staff member, Francis Kipsang Rono, who passed away earlier this week.
Rono, a son of the late Isaac Rono and Mrs. Rael Rono of the Kapsogon family in Tuiyo, Lemook Soko, Kapseret Constituency, served in Sudi’s office for over a decade. According to the MP, his passing has left a significant void both in the team and in the community he faithfully represented.
In his condolence message, MP Sudi described Rono as “a dedicated, obedient, and hardworking member of our team whose contributions will never be forgotten.” He noted that Rono’s unwavering commitment to duty made him an integral part of the constituency office and an invaluable resource to the people of Kapseret.
“I am deeply heartbroken following the passing on of my longtime staff, Francis Kipsang Rono. We have had the privilege of having him on board for over 10 years. His dedication, commitment, and passion for his work will be deeply missed by everyone in our team,” Sudi said.
The MP extended his deepest condolences to Rono’s wife, Tecla Rono, and the entire family, urging them to find comfort in God during this difficult time.
“May God comfort us during this painful moment and grant the family peace and strength,” he added.
Rono’s death is being mourned not only by the MP’s office but also by the broader Kapseret community, many of whom remember him as a humble, diligent, and principled man.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be communicated by the family in due course.
