A man whose luck changed overnight

For years, Samuel was the kind of man people pitied. He had the qualifications, the energy, and the will to work, but every opportunity slipped away. He would get called for interviews but never be hired. Whenever he started a business, something would go wrong a deal collapsing, a partner backing out, or an unexpected loss.

“I used to say I was cursed,” he admits, shaking his head. “Even the phone I used would crash right before I got an important call.”
