Top Kenyan Brands and Entrepreneurs Honored at the Starbrand Awards 2025

 The prestigious Starbrand Awards 2025 lit up the Sarit Center over the weekend, bringing together Kenya’s top brands, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs for a night of recognition, networking, and celebration.

The annual event, known for honoring excellence in branding, innovation, customer experience, and social impact, attracted a vibrant crowd of business magnates and emerging entrepreneurs who have made significant strides in their respective fields.

Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, Member of Parliament for Kiharu Constituency, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his keynote speech, he urged entrepreneurs to use their platforms not just for personal gain but to drive economic growth and uplift communities.

“True entrepreneurship is not about enriching oneself but building systems that grow the economy and empower others,” Hon. Nyoro said.

Real Estate Shines Bright

The real estate sector stole the spotlight with multiple honors going to key players:

  • Comfort Homes emerged as a trailblazer, clinching the Excellence in Digital Marketing award. Its affiliated financial arm, Together As One Sacco, also bagged dual honors for Most Preferred Customer-Friendly Sacco and Most Preferred Savings Account.

  • Nyota Njema Real Estate, owned by Perminus Kariuki, was recognized as the Most Affordable Real Estate Company for the Diaspora Market, as well as for being the Timely Issuer of Title Deeds.

  • Golden Dreams Real Estate, led by Fred Kahura, earned the coveted title of Most Trusted Land Selling Company for Diaspora Investors.

Business Leaders Recognized

Ezekiel Kariuki, CEO of Comfort Homes and Together As One Sacco, was honored with the Pacesetter Business Leader of the Year award for his exceptional leadership and innovation in both housing and finance sectors.

In the agribusiness sector, Charles Njiru, popularly known as Mkombozi, was recognized for his remarkable achievements. His company, Nice Digital Rice, received the award for the Fastest Growing Maize Flour Brand in Kenya.

Legacy and Public Service Celebrated

A special moment of the evening came when Bishop David Munyiri Thagana of Glory Outreach Assembly (GOA) received the Legacy of Compassion and Humanitarian Award. An emotional Bishop Thagana reflected on his journey of service:

“I never imagined anyone was watching. Everything I did in secret, God has now rewarded in public,” he shared.

Meanwhile, Nelson Nduki Mwangi, Chairman of Super Metro PSV, was celebrated as the Outstanding Public Service Provider for transforming the commuter experience in Nairobi through reliable and customer-centered transport services.
