FKF President Urges Harambee Stars Fans to Observe Ticket Rules for Sunday’s Clash

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Hussein Mohammed has called on Harambee Stars supporters to exercise discipline and adhere to ticketing regulations ahead of Sunday’s decisive match at Kasarani Stadium.

In a statement on Tuesday, Hussein commended fans for their unwavering passion but urged them to channel their energy in a way that safeguards the sport’s integrity.

“We love the passion – let’s channel it the right way. For Sunday’s game at Kasarani, only come if you have an original ticket,” he said. “No ticket? Support the team from home on KBC or Azam. Forced entries risk punishments and sanctions against our game – let’s protect Kenyan football together.”

His remarks come as the national team prepares for a crucial fixture, with the stadium expected to attract thousands of fans eager to cheer on Harambee Stars. In previous matches, concerns have been raised over fans forcing their way into venues without tickets, incidents that risk sanctions from football governing bodies.

The FKF boss stressed that every supporter’s cooperation is vital in ensuring the safety and smooth running of the match. “We must show the world that Kenyan football fans are as responsible as they are passionate,” he added.

With high stakes on the pitch and in the stands, organisers are ramping up security and ticket verification to ensure only legitimate ticket holders access Kasarani.
