KURA Boss Silas Kinoti Dismisses Claims of Terminal Leave as False

The Director General of the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), Eng. Silas Kinoti, has firmly denied reports circulating on social media and other platforms that he is proceeding on terminal leave.

In a strongly worded statement released on Saturday, Kinoti described the allegations as “false, misleading, and completely unfounded,” urging the public to disregard them and rely solely on official communication channels for accurate information about KURA and its leadership.

“Contrary to the claims being spread, I am NOT proceeding on terminal leave,” Kinoti stated. “These allegations are completely false, misleading, and should be treated with the disregard they deserve.”

He reiterated that he remains fully engaged in his role, emphasizing his continued leadership in the agency’s efforts to improve urban road infrastructure across the country.

“We remain fully committed to our mandate of developing and maintaining quality urban roads infrastructure, and I continue to discharge my duties in that capacity without interruption,” he affirmed.

Kinoti also thanked citizens for their ongoing support and cautioned against the spread of unverified information that can mislead the public and undermine the work of state institutions.
