Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua Mourns Content Creator KK Mwenyewe

 Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has today mourned the untimely passing of celebrated Kenyan content creator Zachariah Kariuki, popularly known as KK Mwenyewe, describing him as a beacon of creativity and a voice of inspiration for millions.

In a heartfelt statement released this morning, Gachagua expressed deep sorrow at the loss of the young comedian, commending his unmatched ability to communicate profound messages through humor and simplicity.

“I have this morning woken up to the sad demise of Mr. Zachariah Kariuki alias Mr. KK Mwenyewe, a content creator per excellence and an inspiration to many,” said Gachagua. “Mr. KK, a young, consistent, and resilient young man, used comedy to communicate simple and creative messages to all Kenyans and spoke to our hearts.”

The former deputy president extended his deepest condolences to KK Mwenyewe’s family, friends, and the wider creative community, noting the void left behind by a man who had become a voice for the youth and a reflection of Kenyan resilience.

“I especially condole the creative industry on the loss of a champion whose creative eye lives with us for days to come,” he added.

Gachagua concluded by praying for comfort for the bereaved family and eternal peace for the departed soul. “May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant his family peace.”

KK Mwenyewe rose to national prominence through his humorous skits and impersonations, notably those mimicking national leaders, which endeared him to a wide online following. His creativity and wit made him a household name among Kenya’s digital generation.
