Renowned Cleric Bishop Gilbert Deya Dies in Tragic Road Accident

Bishop Gilbert Deya, the controversial preacher known for the infamous "miracle babies" saga, has died in a grisly road accident along the Kisumu-Bondo road.

The fatal incident occurred at Namba Kapiyo when a trailer reportedly lost control and rammed into Deya's SUV. Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene, with the SUV severely mangled in the crash. Emergency responders confirmed the cleric died on the spot.

Authorities have launched investigations into the accident, which also left several others injured. Deya, once based in the UK, recently returned to Kenya where he resumed ministry activities despite his controversial past.
