Eldoret National Polytechnic Students Visit Imarisha Sacco for Experiential Learning

 

Students pursuing Cooperative Management Module 3 at The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) recently had the opportunity to visit Imarisha Sacco Society Limited as part of their ongoing academic exposure program aimed at linking classroom learning with practical industry experience.

The educational visit provided trainees with first-hand insights into the day-to-day operations, governance structures, and financial management practices of a successful cooperative institution. The experience was hailed as a vital step in nurturing future professionals in Kenya’s cooperative sector.

Speaking after the visit, TENP officials praised Imarisha Sacco for its warm hospitality and knowledge-sharing, which helped students better understand the principles and practices of cooperative finance and member-driven institutions.

“We are deeply grateful to the Imarisha Sacco team for their receptiveness, insightful presentations, and mentorship, all of which contributed significantly to our students’ understanding of cooperative systems,” said a statement from the Polytechnic.
