Busia County Women Representative Hon. Catherine Omanyo has extended her deepest condolences to the Wanyama family following the passing of Mama Mildred Wanyama, the beloved matriarch of one of Kenya’s most recognized footballing families.
In a statement issued Saturday morning, Hon. Omanyo expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, noting the deep sense of loss felt not just by the Wanyamas, but by the entire country.
“On my behalf and on behalf of the people of Busia County, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Wanyama family following the passing of Mama Mildred Wanyama,” she said.
