Rigathi Gachagua Launches DCP Party Office in Gatanga

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua today officially opened the inaugural office of the Democratic Change Party (DCP) in Kariara, Gatanga Constituency, marking a significant milestone in the party’s grassroots expansion.

Addressing residents, supporters, and party officials during the launch, Gachagua said the new office symbolizes DCP’s firm commitment to the people of Kenya and its vision of inclusive, community-based politics. He emphasized that the party will remain steadfast in championing development, unity, and equitable progress.

“This new office in Kariara is not just a physical structure—it is a beacon of hope, service, and renewed political engagement. It reflects our dedication to walking with the people at every level and ensuring that their voices shape the future of this nation,” said Gachagua.

He reaffirmed DCP’s mission to strengthen democracy across all regions, urging residents to actively participate in political processes and stand firm in safeguarding their rights.

“Our clarion call is clear—Skiza Wakenya. We will continue to listen, represent, and empower the people. Together, we will build a just and prosperous Kenya, where every citizen has a voice and a stake in the nation’s progress,” he added.

Gachagua noted that the party will continue opening offices across the country to deepen engagement with communities and support local leadership focused on transformation and integrity.

The event was attended by local leaders, community members, and DCP officials, who lauded the move as timely and a sign of renewed political energy in the region.
