Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi shared a candid and meaningful lunch with renowned grassroots mobilizer Mama Nelly Jepngetich and her close associates in Nairobi County, in what he described as an inspiring conversation focused on community development.
The informal gathering, which took place during Sudi’s brief Nairobi visit, turned into a forum of ideas, as the leaders discussed the everyday struggles and triumphs of grassroots mobilization. “Over lunch break, I had the privilege of sharing a sumptuous meal with Mama Nelly Jepngetich—a renowned grassroots mobilizer—alongside her friends in Nairobi County,” Sudi said. “As we broke bread, the discussions deepened into a hearty conversation about how I might contribute, even if in a small way, to bolster their remarkable grassroots efforts.”
