The Kenya School of Government (KSG) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Youth Agenda through a strategic partnership with the State Department for Youth Affairs and the Creative Economy.
During a breakfast meeting hosted by KSG Director General Prof. Nura Mohamed, discussions with Principal Secretary Mr. Fikirini Jacobs focused on strengthening youth-centered programs across the country. The two leaders emphasized the importance of equipping young people with the skills and tools needed to thrive in a dynamic socio-economic environment.
The meeting reviewed progress made in building the capacity of young people through customized training initiatives spearheaded by KSG. These programs aim to bridge knowledge gaps and prepare youth for leadership, entrepreneurship and active citizenship.
Prof. Mohamed noted that empowering the youth remains a top priority for KSG and emphasized the institution’s readiness to scale up innovative approaches that meet the evolving needs of young people.
The discussions also explored how KSG could enhance its role in the operationalization and effective utilization of youth empowerment centres nationwide. By harnessing innovation and aligning programs with youth aspirations, both institutions aim to ensure a more inclusive and impactful empowerment agenda.
The collaboration signals a renewed momentum in the national effort to unlock the full potential of Kenya’s youth through skills development, innovation and institutional support.
