Former Metkei Ward MCA Lawi Kibire Elected 3rd Speaker of Elgeyo Marakwet County Assembly

Elgeyo Marakwet County Assembly has elected Lawi Kibire, the former Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Metkei Ward, as its third Speaker. Kibire’s election, which was decided unanimously, comes after a keenly awaited leadership race within the assembly.
