Willy Kenei Welcomes Ruto to Eldoret, Reaffirms ‘Dawa ya Uasin Gishu’ Slogan

Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Willy Kenei has welcomed President William Ruto to Eldoret City following his development tour of Uasin Gishu County, thanking residents for the reception accorded to the Head of State.

In a statement, Kenei described it as an honour to welcome the President to Eldoret, expressing gratitude to residents for what he termed overwhelming support and a warm reception.

“USAWA NI SAWA!” Kenei declared, reiterating his political slogan, **“Dawa ya Uasin Gishu,”** as he continues to position himself ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial race.

Kenei’s message came as President Ruto visited the county to inspect and launch development projects, with Eldoret serving as a key stop during his tour.

The aspirant also used the occasion to acknowledge residents who turned out to welcome the President, sharing his message under the hashtags.

Kenei is among those seeking to succeed Governor Jonathan Bii Chelilim in the 2027 elections, as political activity gradually gathers momentum in Uasin Gishu County.
