Mogo Boosts Police Operations in Kisii with Motorbikes, Electronics and Office Furniture

Police officers in Kisii County have received a major boost in mobility and operational capacity following a donation of motorcycles, electronics and office furniture from Mogo, East Africa’s leading motorcycle and smartphone financier.

The donation is aimed at supporting police operations, strengthening security and helping officers combat motorcycle theft and other security challenges affecting the region.

Kisii Central Police Station, Ogembo Police Station and the municipality office each received a motorcycle and office furniture, including tables and chairs, to improve service delivery and support their day-to-day operations.

The initiative forms part of Mogo’s efforts to support public institutions by providing practical resources to enhance their ability to carry out essential responsibilities.

The motorcycles are expected to improve mobility, enabling officers to respond more effectively to security incidents and carry out patrols, while the office furniture will help improve working conditions at the beneficiary stations and office.

Motorcycle theft remains a concern in various parts of the country, with improved mobility and operational resources playing an important role in supporting law enforcement efforts.

Through the donation, Mogo has demonstrated its commitment to working with public institutions to strengthen service delivery and contribute to safer communities.
