PS Roseline Njogu Celebrates 25 Years of Ripples International’s Impact on Vulnerable Children

 Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline K. Njogu has joined Ripples International in marking 25 years of dedicated service to vulnerable children and communities, praising the organisation for its longstanding commitment to protecting and empowering those most in need.

The PS attended the Silver Jubilee celebrations held at Kithoka in Meru County, where Ripples International marked a major milestone in its journey of transforming the lives of children and other vulnerable members of society.

For a quarter of a century, the child-focused organisation has implemented programmes aimed at safeguarding children, promoting their welfare and creating opportunities for vulnerable families and communities to thrive.

During her visit, Njogu was taken through Ripples International’s various programmes and initiatives, giving her an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the organisation’s work, particularly its interventions focused on the care, protection and empowerment of children.

The PS commended the organisation for remaining steadfast in its mission over the past 25 years, noting the importance of partnerships between government and community-based organisations in addressing challenges affecting vulnerable children.

The celebrations brought together leaders, stakeholders, staff, beneficiaries and partners who reflected on Ripples International’s achievements while looking ahead to the organisation’s next chapter.

Gender and Affirmative Action Principal Secretary Anne Wang’ombe also graced the Silver Jubilee celebrations, underscoring the significance of initiatives that promote the protection, dignity and wellbeing of children and other vulnerable groups.

The milestone comes as Ripples International continues to play a role in addressing social challenges affecting children and families, with its programmes seeking to provide care, protection, empowerment and hope to communities across the region.

The 25-year journey was celebrated as a testament to the organisation’s resilience and commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable members of society.
