“Those Digging Traps Will Fall Into Them”: Tanzanian Pastor Warns Natembeya’s Critics During Trans Nzoia Prayers

Trans Nzoia County government in collaboration with the Seventh day Adventists Amazing Church dedicated the county to God.

Leading SDA Motivational Speaker and Preacher from neighboring Tanzania, Pastor Fadhili Samuel Lupua  who was the guest speaker during the prayers held at the County headquarters on Friday  warned people in different positions of authority not to dig  traps for others, saying the  immoral characteristics will come back in full .

Basing his teaching on the biblical scriptures of Proverbs 26:27 and Psalm 7:15-16, which state that those who plot harm or set traps for others will ultimately fall into them, the cleric declared prophetically that those fond  of recoupling bad intentions and malicious schemes will not survive in these times.

“Instead of planning the downfall of others, i  encourage us all to focus on personal growth, peace, and building each other.

Pastor Fadhili continuously used the metaphor to remind congregants that justice will catch up to those who act with malice.

He prayed for the Peaceful coexistence and respect t in the Cosmo-politan County, warning that those who have been crucifying Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya through bad will have the same consequence tripled just like King David declared “Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out will fall into.

The pastor who has had a vision of teaching in international conferences including Kenya where he has been teaching in 43 County governments said those digging traps for others  while sitting with them laughing together  will face what is described in Psalm 7:15 where  King David made a prophetic declaration  “He who digs a pit and scoops it out falls into the hole he has made.”

Governor Natembeya said prayer sessions were an essential move for moral grounding and harmony across all neighborhoods including  the neighboring   Tanzania, adding that geographical boundaries had only been erected  by colonialists to divide people for their own ulterior  motives.

Africa as a continent, he said had been endowed with mineral resources that had been misused by bad political leadership that had lost focus. May ‘’ God give us proper leadership that shall through God’S  wisdom help propel  our  Country to greater heights of prosperity’’.

The Governor further said that Kenya as a Country was not moving in the right direction and asked the Church to pray for the opposition which he said was ready to take over the crown in next year's elections.

He said spiritual appeals are matched by sufficient policy action and accountability regarding governance and economic challenges.

He led the County leadership in urging residents to lean on faith, unity, and divine guidance to steer the Cosmo-politan County through various social and economic challenges.

The prayers that are normally held every Friday courtesy of the Deputy County Secretary George Kisaka , a committee of  clerics and the auspices of the inter- religious Council led by its chairman Bishop Raymond Mutama has always transcended  political divides and fosters the  unity of the Country with a view of  seeking spiritual reflection on governance and public service.

The Deputy County Secretary George Kisaka thanked the governor for giving the clergy space to be holding prayer sessions at the County headquarters every Friday in gatherings based “Forgiveness and Reconciliation”, a powerful call for healing of the County even as the Country prepares itself for next year's general elections.

The meeting  was attended by the head of public service Truphosa  Amere,  Health CECM Kerio Lorot ,  Tourism, youths, Sports , culture and gender  CECM Eliud Tormoi  , Roads and Infrastructure  CECM  Gideon Barongo,  Political strategist  Zablon Matundara Obiri , Pathfinders founder  Washington Ngesa   and other distinguished members of the Clergy and  professionals  who are members of the SDA A mazing   Church

The prayer session was an inspiration to the staff, some who thanked Pastor Fadhili for the sermon they said had liberated them .

The  more than 60 years Buruka Choir from Tanzania in collaboration with the Amazing Choir led the prayer sessions through powerful  praise and worship
