Murkomen Joins Ruto, Leaders for Broad-Based Coalition Parliamentary Group Meeting in Naivasha
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has joined President William Samoei Ruto and other senior leaders for a meeting of the Joint Broad-Based Coalition Parliamentary Group in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
Murkomen confirmed his participation in the meeting, which brings together leaders from across the broad-based political arrangement supporting the Kenya Kwanza administration.
The Naivasha meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the coalition leadership and lawmakers to deliberate on matters of national importance, government priorities and the political direction of the country.
President Ruto has continued to engage leaders from different political formations under the broad-based government arrangement, which has brought together members of the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio camps.
The meeting also comes as the government intensifies consultations with legislators on its development agenda and key legislative priorities.
Murkomen, a close ally of President Ruto, has remained active in mobilising support for the administration's programmes and strengthening cooperation between the Executive and Parliament.
The Interior CS shared images of the meeting in Naivasha, describing it as a gathering with President Ruto and other leaders for the Joint Broad-Based Coalition Parliamentary Group meeting.
