MCA Tricky Breaks Silence on Milele FM Exit: ‘I Was Fired, Not Resigned’

Comedian and MCA Tricky has broken his silence over his exit from Milele FM, revealing that he was terminated by the media house and did not resign as had earlier been reported.

Speaking during a podcast interview with his former co-host, Chris The Baze, Tricky said he received a termination letter through email informing him that his employment had been ended.

According to the comedian, the letter cited financial losses at the media house as the reason for his termination.

Tricky’s revelation contradicts earlier reports that he had voluntarily left Milele FM to pursue further studies in Germany.

He explained that although plans to relocate to Germany for a Master’s degree had previously been associated with his departure, he is currently based in Nairobi, where he has turned his focus to producing independent digital content.

The comedian’s clarification has sparked fresh conversation about his unexpected departure from the popular radio station, with fans and followers seeking to understand what led to the end of his stint at Milele FM.

Tricky was known for his comedic style and entertaining presence on radio, where he built a strong following alongside Chris The Baze.

His latest revelation now puts a different perspective on his exit, with the comedian making it clear that his departure was the result of a termination rather than a voluntary decision to leave the station.

Despite the setback, Tricky appears to be charting a new path in the digital space, continuing to create content while remaining in Nairobi.
