Hindu Council Leader Sonvir Singh Wishes India Happy Independence Day
Kenya National Vice Chairman of the Hindu Council of Kenya and President of the Rajasthan Foundation Nairobi Chapter Sonvir Singh has extended warm greetings to the people of India as the country celebrates its Independence Day.
Singh said the occasion is a moment to celebrate India’s rich history, cultural heritage and remarkable journey since independence, while honouring the sacrifices and contributions of those who helped shape the nation.
He also celebrated the enduring friendship between India and Kenya, noting the strong people-to-people ties that have continued to unite the two countries over the years.
“As we celebrate India’s Independence Day, we honour the spirit of freedom, unity and resilience that has shaped this great nation. May India continue to prosper, grow in strength and make an even greater contribution to global peace and development,” Singh said.
He extended his best wishes to Indians living in Kenya and across the diaspora, urging communities to remain united and continue contributing positively to society.
Singh said the Indian community in Kenya remains an important bridge between the two nations, strengthening cultural, social, religious and economic relations.
As Kenya National Vice Chairman of the Hindu Council of Kenya, Singh also reaffirmed the importance of promoting harmony, cultural understanding and peaceful coexistence among communities.
He wished Indians a joyous Independence Day, concluding his message with a patriotic “Jai Hind.”
