Victory After Appeal! Hill School Eldoret Crowned Rift Valley JSS Girls' Football Champions

Hill School Girls from Eldoret have officially been crowned the Rift Valley Junior Secondary School (JSS) Girls' Football Champions following a successful appeal, earning the right to represent the region at the upcoming Kenya Junior Secondary School Association (KJSSA) National Games in Thika, Kiambu County.
The decision marks a major triumph for the Uasin Gishu County champions, who will now carry the flags of both Uasin Gishu County and the Rift Valley Region at the national championship.
The successful appeal overturned the earlier outcome involving Totum, paving the way for Hill School Girls to be declared the official regional champions.
The victory is a significant milestone for the Eldoret-based side, whose impressive performances throughout the competition had already established them as one of the strongest teams in the region. Their elevation to champions now gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent on the national stage against the best junior secondary school teams from across the country.
Speaking after the decision, Hill School Principal Naftali Mibei applauded the outcome of the appeal, saying justice had prevailed and praising the players for their resilience, discipline and determination throughout the competition.
The principal congratulated the students for their outstanding achievement, describing the regional title as a reward for their hard work, commitment and teamwork.

The KJSSA National Games, scheduled to be held in Thika, Kiambu County, will bring together regional champions from across Kenya to compete for national honors in various sporting disciplines.
Hill School Girls are expected to begin preparations immediately as they seek to build on their regional success and challenge for the national title.
The achievement has been widely celebrated across Uasin Gishu, with education stakeholders, parents, sports enthusiasts and residents congratulating the players, coaching staff and school management for the remarkable accomplishment.
The team's qualification also highlights the growing strength of junior secondary school football in Uasin Gishu County, which has continued to produce competitive teams capable of excelling at regional and national levels.
With the Rift Valley title now secured, all eyes will now be on Hill School Girls as they head to Thika carrying the hopes of Uasin Gishu County and the entire Rift Valley Region in pursuit of national glory.
