Ruto: Opposition Threatens Kenya's Future, Economy

 President William Ruto has intensified his criticism of the Opposition, describing it as an existential threat to Kenya's economy and the future of the country's children.

Speaking during a public address in Amagoro Town, Teso North Constituency, Busia County, the President urged Kenyans to unite behind his administration, saying the government remains focused on transforming the country through economic growth and expanded opportunities.

Ruto said his administration is implementing policies aimed at improving livelihoods, creating jobs, strengthening key sectors of the economy and accelerating development projects across the country.

The Head of State argued that political leaders who oppose government development programmes risk slowing the country's progress, insisting that Kenya needs unity and stability to achieve its long-term development goals.

He appealed to citizens to support what he described as a transformative government committed to delivering tangible results for all Kenyans, adding that national development should take precedence over political rivalry.

The President maintained that those opposed to progress and development should not stand in the way of Kenya's transformation, reiterating his administration's commitment to implementing its development agenda despite political opposition.

Ruto made the remarks during his development tour of Busia County, where he continued to rally support for his government's economic and infrastructure programmes while calling for national unity behind his administration's vision.
