Natembeya Endorses Sifuna’s 2027 Bid as Linda Mwananchi Unveils Western Kenya Political Plan

Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has endorsed Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s political bid ahead of the 2027 General Election, following a consultative meeting held at his Milimani home in Kitale.

Natembeya hosted Senator Sifuna, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga and Bumula MP Jack Wamboka, where the leaders discussed regional and national unity, political cooperation and their shared commitment to serving the people.

In resolutions reached after the meeting, leaders allied to the Linda Mwananchi movement announced that they would rally behind Sifuna as they prepare for the 2027 polls.

The group also said it would soon unveil the political party it intends to use as its vehicle in the next General Election.

The leaders further announced a major mobilisation campaign in Western Kenya, beginning with a Linda Mwananchi rally in Trans Nzoia County on July 25.

They will then head to Bungoma County on July 26, where they said a major Luhya political declaration will be made.

The endorsement is expected to intensify political realignments in Western Kenya as leaders position themselves ahead of the 2027 General Election.
