Kabete MP James Wamacukuru Strengthens Learning Environment Through School Infrastructure Development

Kabete Member of Parliament Hon. James Wamacukuru has reaffirmed his commitment to improving education infrastructure after commissioning new ablution blocks at Nyathuna Comprehensive School and Muguga Comprehensive School, as well as launching the construction of an additional ablution block at Nyathuna Comprehensive School.

The projects are aimed at enhancing sanitation, hygiene and the overall learning environment in the two schools, which have experienced a significant increase in student enrolment following improved academic performance and better educational standards.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Wamacukuru noted that as enrolment continues to grow, investment in school infrastructure must keep pace to ensure learners have access to clean, safe and dignified facilities that support quality education.

He emphasized that proper sanitation is essential for promoting good health, reducing the spread of diseases and ensuring that learners—particularly girls—remain in school and are able to concentrate on their studies without unnecessary challenges.

The MP also held discussions with parents and youth from  Nyathuna and  Muguga wards, where he highlighted his commitment to delivering transformative development projects that respond to the needs of the people.

Hon. Wamacukuru thanked parents, teachers, Boards of Management and learners for their continued partnership, affirming that collaboration remains key to building modern schools and creating an enabling environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
