Bungoma Governor Lusaka Mourns Veteran Journalist Douglas Mudambo


Leaders and members of the media fraternity in Bungoma County are mourning the death of veteran journalist Douglas Mudambo, described as a dedicated reporter and a trusted voice in society.

In a condolence message, Governor Kenneth Lusaka expressed deep sorrow over Mudambo’s passing, noting that his contribution to journalism and public discourse will be greatly missed.

Mudambo, who worked with the Kenya News Agency in Bungoma, was widely respected for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to telling the stories that mattered to local communities.

“Douglas exemplified truth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to telling the stories of our people. His presence and partnership will be deeply missed,” Lusaka said.
