Sudi Mourns Johanna Ngeno, Recalls Standing by Him During His Darkest Moments
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Hon. Johanna Ngeno, describing him as a resilient leader and a close friend whose loss has left a painful void.
In an emotional tribute, Sudi said he is still struggling to come to terms with Ngeno’s demise, noting that the late leader was not only a colleague in public service but also someone he supported during some of the most difficult periods of his life.
“Even in his lowest moment, when he needed a shoulder to lean on, I stood by him,” Sudi said. “During his challenging time in India, when he was seeking treatment away from home, I remained steadfast in my support as a friend.”
Sudi recalled that those moments strengthened their friendship and highlighted the importance of standing together during adversity. He described Ngeno as a courageous and outspoken leader who remained committed to serving his people despite personal challenges.
According to the Kapseret MP, Ngeno’s dedication to public service and his determination to speak for his community will be remembered by many who admired his leadership.
“This is a painful loss not only to his family and friends but also to the people who believed in his leadership,” Sudi said.
The legislator extended his condolences to Ngeno’s family, urging them to remain strong during the difficult period of mourning.
