Mudhiero Secondary School Receives New Administration Block and Bus in NG-CDF Boost
Mudhiero Secondary School has marked a major milestone following the official handover of a newly constructed administration block and a 51-seater school bus, projects funded through the NG-CDF Board’s Best Practice Demonstration Programme.
The commissioning ceremony was presided over by NG-CDF Board Chair Hon. Olago Aluoch, CBS, and attended by Moses Omondi, alongside other local leaders and community members.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Aluoch emphasized the importance of investing in education infrastructure as a catalyst for community development. He noted that the new administration block would significantly improve the school’s operational efficiency by centralizing staff services and creating a more conducive working environment for teachers.
The modern facility is expected to enhance service delivery within the school, while also contributing to a better learning atmosphere for students.
In addition to the administration block, the school also received a 51-seater bus funded under the NG-CDF Ugunja initiative. The bus is set to ease transportation challenges, enabling students to participate more effectively in academic trips, sports, and other co-curricular activities.
Area MP Moses Omondi lauded the projects, describing them as transformative investments that will benefit both current and future generations. He reiterated his commitment to supporting education initiatives across the constituency.
The dual projects highlight the NG-CDF’s continued focus on sustainable development, with leaders noting that such investments not only empower learners and educators but also uplift the broader community.
The commissioning ceremony concluded with calls for continued collaboration between government agencies, school management, and the local community to ensure the long-term success and maintenance of the new facilities.
