EPZA Announces Casual Jobs at Athi River Zone
The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) has advertised short-term employment opportunities for casual workers at its Athi River Zone, offering a temporary boost to job seekers in the area.
In an external advert dated March 23, 2026, the authority announced it is seeking three temporary workers to undertake cleaning and landscaping duties within the zone. The engagement will run for a period of three months.
According to the notice, successful applicants will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including clearing old plant stock along roads, grading works, collecting and disposing of waste in open spaces, pruning vegetation, conducting termite control, and planting ornamental plants.
The minimum qualifications for the positions include an O-Level certificate, a valid certificate of good conduct, and a national identity card.
EPZA stated that the selected candidates will earn a monthly wage of KSh17,096.96, inclusive of house allowance.
Interested applicants have been asked to submit their applications to the Human Resource office by March 25, 2026. The authority noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The recruitment comes as part of ongoing efforts by the agency to maintain and improve infrastructure within its industrial zones, which play a key role in supporting export-oriented manufacturing and employment in Kenya.
