Meru Woman Representative Karambu Kailemia Recognized Among Kenya’s Top Performing Women Leaders

Karambu Kailemia has received continental recognition after being named the 3rd Best Performing Women Representative in Kenya for 2025 at the prestigious Africa Champions Awards International during the  8th Edition of the Africa Champions Awards.

The award places the legislator among the country’s most impactful women leaders and highlights her growing influence in championing development, empowerment, and representation for the people of Meru County.

The recognition celebrates leaders across Africa who demonstrate exceptional dedication to public service, governance, and community transformation. For Hon. Kailemia, the award reflects years of consistent work focused on uplifting communities, strengthening social programs, and amplifying the voices of women and youth.
