Gachagua Rallies Makueni Supporters, Vows ‘New Dawn’ Under United Alternative Government

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has intensified his grassroots engagements in Mbooni Constituency, declaring growing support for what he termed the “Wantam Resolution” and a push for a new political direction in the country.

Addressing residents in Mukuyuni and later in Kikima, Gachagua said communities in the region are firmly behind his call for change and are ready to usher in what he described as a “new dawn.”

“The people of Mukuyuni stand in strong support of our resolution and are ready for a new era,” he said. “As the United Alternative Government, we have a responsibility to restore our country to the path of sanity and progress.”

Gachagua assured residents that their expectations would not be in vain, promising that their aspirations for development and better governance would be realized through a united political movement.

“We will not let you down. Together, we will turn your dreams into reality,” he told enthusiastic crowds, adding that Kenyans are increasingly determined to reclaim the country’s direction and secure a better future.

He singled out the people of Kikima as being at the forefront of the movement, praising their commitment and resilience in pushing for change.

“As a united front, we have no luxury of time. We must remain steadfast in the struggle for a stronger, better Kenya,” he said. “Asanteni sana, Kikima cousins.”

The remarks build on his earlier visit to Mbumbuni Centre, where he received a warm استقبال from residents and reiterated the importance of grassroots support in shaping the country’s political future.

Gachagua’s tour of Makueni County is part of a broader campaign to consolidate support across regions as he positions himself and his allies within an emerging opposition movement advocating for governance reforms and national unity.
