UDA Diehards Trek for Three Days to Hustler Plaza in Show of Loyalty

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) National Treasurer Hon. Japheth Nyakundi on Tuesday received a group of party supporters who trekked for three days from Mogotio Constituency in Baringo County to the party’s Hustler Plaza headquarters in Nairobi to demonstrate their loyalty and gratitude to the ruling party.

The group of 50 youths, led by Emmanuel Kipkurui, undertook the long journey while pushing a yellow wheelbarrow—UDA’s party symbol—in a symbolic show of commitment to the party’s ideals. The trek began on Friday at Noiwet Village in Ngubereti Location, Mogotio Ward, and drew admiration from party officials and supporters alike.

The youths were supported along the way by Mama Grace Sialo Tangut, who provided them with milk and water during the arduous journey, helping them endure the long walk to the capital.

Hon. Nyakundi praised the group for their dedication and resilience, describing the trek as a powerful demonstration of grassroots support for the party’s agenda. He commended the youths for their continued efforts in popularizing UDA and mobilizing support for President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.

“This is a clear indication of the strong bond between the party and the people at the grassroots,” Hon. Nyakundi said, adding that such commitment reflects confidence in the government’s development agenda.

At the party headquarters, the group was warmly received by Nairobi County nominated Members of the County Assembly Virginia Waithera and Cecilia Wairimu, alongside UDA Party Directors Samuel Mwangi, Rob Jillo, and Grace Gicovi, as well as members of the party secretariat.

The visit underscored UDA’s emphasis on grassroots mobilization and loyalty, highlighting the role of youth in shaping the party’s future political strategy as it gears up for the next general election.
