Police Arrest Suspect in Molo Petrol Station Robbery



 Police in Molo have arrested a key suspect in a robbery with violence incident at a local petrol station, where two men disguised in police jungle jackets raided the premises at night.

The incident occurred at Total Petrol Station, where the attackers, armed with crude weapons, tied up the pump attendant and the watchman before ransacking the station. They made off with cash, mobile phones, and other valuables, disappearing into the darkness.

Following a swift response and manhunt, officers apprehended 55-year-old Joseph Daudi Bulinga, one of the suspects. A search of Bulinga led to the recovery of a claw bar, a police smoke jacket, and a tear gas canister.

Bulinga is currently in custody as police prepare to arraign him in court. Authorities continue to pursue the second suspect, who remains at large.

The National Police Service commended the public for providing timely information that supports the fight against crime, urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
