Masinde Nguti Outlines Equity-Based Development Agenda Ahead of 2027 Kimilili MP Race
By Godfrey Wamalwa
Kimilili parliamentary aspirant Masinde Nguti has pledged to pursue an equity-driven development agenda if elected Member of Parliament in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking to Vipasho News, Nguti said his leadership would prioritize equitable distribution of bursaries to ensure that needy and deserving students across all wards in Kimilili Constituency are supported to stay in school. He emphasized that access to education should not be determined by background or location.
Nguti further promised equitable investment in school infrastructure, noting that all learning institutions should benefit fairly from national government resources. He said his approach would focus on balanced development to address disparities that have existed for years in the constituency.
On broader development, the aspirant said he would advocate for equitable allocation of development projects, ensuring that no ward is sidelined. He added that inclusive development is critical for unity and sustainable growth.
Nguti also outlined plans to empower women and youth groups through support for income-generating activities, skills development, and access to opportunities aimed at improving livelihoods.
He said his vision for Kimilili is grounded in fairness, accountability, and people-centered leadership, adding that leadership should deliver tangible benefits to the community.
As political activity slowly gathers pace ahead of 2027, Nguti’s remarks signal an early focus on education, equity, and empowerment as central pillars of his campaign message.
