DCI Director Conducts Security Assessment Tour in Marsabit County



 The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr. Mohamed I. Amin, on Tuesday conducted a security assessment visit to North Horr Police Station in Marsabit County as part of an ongoing tour aimed at strengthening security operations in the region.

Mr. Amin was received by the North Horr Sub-County Police Commander, Mr. Samuel Kiplong, alongside officers drawn from various units within the National Police Service.

During the visit, the DCI Director assessed the prevailing security situation and addressed officers in an interactive session, where he emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline and dedication to duty in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He also conveyed New Year greetings from the Inspector General of the National Police Service, urging officers to remain committed to serving the public with integrity while upholding the image and values of the National Police Service at all times.

Mr. Amin was accompanied by senior officers, including Mr. Ibrahim Jillo, AIG, the Director of the National Central Bureau (NCB) at the DCI, and Mr. Adan Guyo, AIG, the Officer Commanding Capital Markets at the DCI Investigations Bureau.

Also present during the visit were the North Horr Sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer, Mr. Job Wafula, the Sub-County Administration Police Commander, Mr. Paul Kathenya, and other officers.

The visit highlights the National Police Service’s continued commitment to enhancing security across the country and ensuring that residents can go about their daily activities, including celebrating the festive season, in a safe and secure environment.
