Mwala MP Praises Youth Turnout at 2025 Annual Comrades Meeting
Mwala Member of Parliament, Eng. Vincent Musyoka Musau Kawaya, has lauded students and youth leaders for turning out in large numbers to make the 2025 Annual Comrades Meeting a major success.
The meeting, which attracted more than 6,000 students from various institutions across the country—many of them from Mwala Constituency—was described as a powerful display of unity, discipline, and shared purpose among young people.
Speaking after the event, the MP expressed his gratitude to all comrades who participated, noting that the impressive attendance reflected the growing strength and influence of youth engagement in national and community development.
“This gathering was a clear demonstration of the unity, vision, and potential of our young people. The energy and commitment shown reaffirm our confidence in the future leadership of this country,” he said.
The event was further enlivened by performances from Alphonce Kioko, popularly known as Maima of Kithungo Raha, whose energetic and engaging entertainment kept participants motivated throughout the meeting. The MP singled out the artist for special appreciation, saying his performance added great value and created memorable moments for attendees.
Special recognition was also extended to comrades who travelled from different parts of the country to attend the meeting. The MP praised their discipline, enthusiasm, and active participation, describing them as key pillars in building a strong and progressive comradeship.
