KTDA Holdings Limited Hosts Annual General Meeting, Projects Stronger Performance for Farmers

KTDA Holdings Limited today held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), chaired by the National Chairman of the Board, Mr. Chege Kirundi. The meeting brought together board chairmen from the 54 factory companies that collectively own KTDA Holdings, providing a platform to review the organization’s performance for the 2024/2025 financial year and assess the outlook for the current year.

Chairman Kirundi expressed optimism, noting that farmers have strong reason to expect improved performance this year. He highlighted that ongoing strategic initiatives by the board and management—aimed at boosting efficiencies and strengthening earnings—are already taking effect.

“KTDA remains anchored on the *Farmer First* principle,” Mr. Kirundi said. “Every decision, every business unit, and every staff member operates with the farmer’s interest at the core.”

Under the wise and steady leadership of Chief Executive Officer Wilson Muthaura, KTDA has continued to record remarkable growth, delivering increased value, stability, and satisfaction to smallholder tea farmers across the country.

The AGM reaffirmed KTDA’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability to secure brighter futures for the over 600,000 tea farmers it serves
