KNQA Presents Registration Certificate to KEWI at 37th Graduation Ceremony

 





This week marked a significant milestone as the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) officially presented the Registration Certificate to the Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) during its 37th Graduation Ceremony held at the KEWI Main Campus in Nairobi.


The Authority was represented by Board Chair Hon. Stanley Kiptis, Deputy Director for Registration and Accreditation Mr. James Tegeret, and Registration and Accreditation Officer Ms. Clare Barasa.


The ceremony, themed “Empowering Water Professionals for Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development,” was graced by Cabinet Secretary Eng. Eric Murithi Mugaa, underscoring the sector’s commitment to high-quality training, professional standards, and sustainable water resource management.


KNQA CEO Dr. Alice Kande was also commended for her exemplary leadership in strengthening Kenya’s national qualifications framework. Her dedication to promoting quality assurance, institutional compliance, and skills development continues to enhance transparency and credibility within the national training and certification ecosystem. Her work has played a pivotal role in enabling institutions such as KEWI to meet the standards required for national registration and recognition.
