Young Turks Pay Tribute to Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in Siaya

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, alongside Nakuru’s First Gentleman Sam Mburu and former Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura, led a delegation of Young Turks in paying tribute to the late former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga at his Bondo home.

The leaders were warmly received at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi by Raila Odinga Junior, Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga, and Dr. Winnie Odinga. The delegation also visited Opoda Farm, where Mama Ida Odinga welcomed them with warmth and hospitality.

During the visit, Sudi praised Raila Odinga’s enduring legacy, describing him as a tireless advocate for justice, equality, and democracy. “Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s contributions to Kenya’s democratic journey will continue to inspire generations,” said Sudi.

The tribute highlights the continued respect and admiration for Raila Odinga among Kenya’s younger political leaders, many of whom credit him for shaping their political careers. The Young Turks emphasized their commitment to carrying forward his vision for a more inclusive and just Kenya.
