Scandal Rocks Siaya: Head Teacher Caught in Alleged Affair with Bodaboda Rider’s Wife

Siaya town was jolted into a state of shock on Tuesday morning following a dramatic confrontation that exposed an alleged affair between a respected head teacher and the wife of a local bodaboda rider.

Eyewitnesses say the incident unfolded after the bodaboda rider, having grown suspicious of his wife's frequent and unexplained visits to the school — often during non-teaching hours — decided to follow her. Acting on a tip from a fellow rider, he trailed her to the school premises, where he reportedly found her in a compromising situation with the head teacher inside the staff quarters.

The confrontation quickly escalated, drawing a large crowd of stunned residents. Tensions ran high as the visibly enraged husband confronted the two, demanding answers in the presence of onlookers. The alleged lovers were said to be caught off guard and struggled to explain themselves, further fueling public outrage.

Local elders and community leaders stepped in to defuse the situation, urging calm and emphasizing the need for dignity and due process. The matter was later reported to local authorities, who have since launched an investigation.

In response, the school’s board of management has called an emergency meeting to address the incident and assess its implications for the institution’s leadership and reputation.
