KNPSWU Strongly Condemn the Abuse of a Female Security Guard

Kenya National Private Security Workers Union (KNPSWU), strongly condemn the inhumane and degrading treatment of a female private security officer who was recently assaulted and humiliated by her employer following a workplace dispute.

Such brutality has no place in a civilized and lawful society.

No worker — whether male or female, junior or senior — should ever be subjected to violence, intimidation, or humiliation while performing their duties.

This incident is not just an attack on one worker, but an insult to the dignity of all private security officers who sacrifice daily to protect lives and property across Kenya.

I have directed the union to engage relevant authorities to ensure justice is served without delay and that the victim receives the necessary legal and emotional support.

As a union, and as a nation, we must stand united in saying NO to abuse, NO to exploitation, and YES to dignity and respect at the workplace.

KNPSWU reaffirm our unwavering commitment to defend and protect every private security worker in Kenya.

Justice must prevail.
