Kimumu Ward Youth Leader Norbert Kipkemboi Applauds President Ruto, Gideon Moi Unity for National Stability

 

Youth leader and Kimumu Ward MCA aspirant Norbert Kipkemboi has praised President William Ruto and KANU Chairman Gideon Moi for what he termed as “a historic and statesmanlike show of unity” that reflects true patriotism and a shared vision for Kenya’s future.

Speaking in Eldoret on Sunday, Kipkemboi lauded the President’s efforts to work across political divides, saying the collaboration with Gideon Moi sends a strong message of peace, maturity, and national cohesion.

“This is a great move aimed at bringing all leaders together for the betterment of our country,” Kipkemboi said. “Our economy cannot be stable when we have worrying political sides clashing day and night. President Ruto has shown true leadership.”

He specifically commended the President for ensuring that Hon. Chemitei’s electoral victory was upheld amid intra-party challenges, calling it “a big win for the youth of Baringo and Kenya at large.”

“The decision to stand by Hon. Chemitei despite political pressure shows the President’s commitment to empowering young leaders and respecting the will of the people,” Kipkemboi added.

He also praised Gideon Moi, saying the former Baringo Senator has evolved into a statesman who understands the bigger picture.“Gideon was too big for that seat – and I say that with utmost respect. He has grown beyond county politics. His willingness to work with the President shows great maturity and vision,” Kipkemboi said.

The youth leader urged fellow young people to embrace unity and development-oriented leadership, noting that political stability remains key to unlocking economic opportunities and investments in the region.

Kipkemboi, who is eyeing the Kimumu Ward seat in the upcoming elections, pledged to champion youth empowerment and peaceful political discourse.

“We must move away from politics of division and embrace leaders who can work together for Kenya’s progress. What we have seen between President Ruto and Gideon Moi is a perfect example,” he concluded.
