Kesses MP Julius Ruto Welcomes Frenda Chelangat Back Home After Ordeal in Saudi Arabia
Kesses Member of Parliament, CPA Julius Ruto, has expressed heartfelt gratitude following the safe return of Frenda Chelangat, a young woman from the constituency, after a challenging period in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released on Friday, MP Ruto said Chelangat’s return marks a moment of thanksgiving and renewed hope for her family and the entire Kesses community.
“We thank God for bringing our daughter, Frenda Chelangat, safely back home from Saudi Arabia after a difficult journey. Her return is a true story of faith, resilience, and answered prayers,” said Ruto.
The MP extended special appreciation to the Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs, Roseline Njogu, for her swift intervention and kind support in ensuring Chelangat’s safe repatriation.
“I sincerely appreciate PS Diaspora Affairs Roseline Njogu for her prompt action and dedication throughout this process. Her compassion and efficiency have made a world of difference to this family,” he added.
Ruto described Chelangat’s return as a reminder of the need to strengthen measures that protect Kenyan workers abroad while ensuring their welfare and dignity are safeguarded.
“Karibu nyumbani, Frenda. May peace and healing fill your days ahead,” Ruto concluded.
