Governor Stephen Sang Congratulates Dominic Kibitok Tanui on National Heroes Recognition

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has congratulated Mr. Dominic Kibitok Tanui for being recognized as a National Hero in Environmental Conservation by the National Heroes Council during this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations.

In his congratulatory message, Governor Sang lauded Mr. Tanui’s exemplary leadership and dedication to safeguarding the environment through community-driven initiatives. He noted that Mr. Tanui’s recognition is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride and inspiration for the people of Nandi County.

His initiatives have significantly contributed to the restoration of degraded forest areas and the promotion of green enterprise opportunities within local communities.
