From Vibing Hungry to Vrooming BMWs: How the Hustle Made Us Kings

If you ever told me back in campus that one day I’d be cruising around in a BMW with my boys, I’d have laughed in disbelief. We were just ordinary students three broke friends surviving on instant noodles, shared rent, and pure hope. We had big dreams, of course, but dreams alone don’t pay bills.

I remember those days vividly. Life in campus wasn’t easy, but we always found a way to survive. Sometimes we’d contribute coins to buy lunch, then joke about how one day we’d “blow” and eat at five-star restaurants. One evening, while sitting outside our bedsitter, one of us said, “Bro, we can’t keep waiting for jobs. Let’s create something.” That’s how the idea of selling men’s shoes and clothing came up. We borrowed a small loan from a friend, went to Eastleigh, and bought a few pairs to start with. We didn’t have a shop just backpacks and determination. We’d walk from office to office, selling shoes to anyone willing to listen. To read more click here
